Duties:
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by entering all into Quickbooks Online.
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Recording of debits and credits
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments
- Enter and reconcile all credit card charges into QuickBooks
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with tax payments and returns
- Coordinate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure proper accounting of the payroll system
- Coordinating with company’s payroll company and CPA firm for year-end adjustments
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and maintain budgets
- Assist with monthly reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulations
- Handle any other accounting-related tasks as needed
- Ensure that billing practices comply with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Support the CFO with daily billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining timely communication with clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to refine financial strategies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Utilize advanced Quickbooks software to manage data and create efficiency in financial processes.
- Support financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance as necessary.
- Maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records by tracking transactions and periodically reviewing the ledger.
- Utilize advanced financial software to manage data and create efficiency in financial processes.
- All other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, CPA, or similar role
- High proficiency in accounting software primarily QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong communication skills
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting roles focused on billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Pay will be based on experience and job knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
