Manager of Volunteer Services, Franciscan Sisters, Little Falls, MN, have an opening for a part-time Volunteer Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our volunteer team.
The Manager of Volunteer Services plays a crucial role in enhancing our organization's impact through effective volunteer management and engagement. This position is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, placement, and retention of volunteers while fostering a positive and productive environment. Assesses the organization’s needs and works closely with managers to find opportunities for volunteers to enhance the overall mission.
Minimum qualifications are experience working with older adults; demonstrated success working with and directing volunteers; excellent customer service, public speaking and communication skills; event planning; collaborate with other agencies and organizations related to volunteer activities; and working knowledge of MS Office software. Three – five years related experience required.
The position involves working 20 hours per week, variable hours including some evenings and weekends during events.
