We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and managing a team of sales representatives. This role is very hands on and requires a dynamic leader with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. This position also requires available hours between Mon - Friday 11am - 7pm including weekends as needed. This position will include bonuses and commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Set individual and team sales targets and ensure that they are met or exceeded.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Monitor the performance of the sales team, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvement strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for key accounts and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Oversee the management of client contracts and negotiations.
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Develop and optimize sales processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Ensure the CRM system is effectively utilized for tracking sales activities and client interactions.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity, market conditions, and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, team management, and CRM software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in door to door sales and telemarketing a plus.
- Familiarity with digital sales and e-commerce platforms.
- Leadership certification or sales management training.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
