The Fuel Facility Operations Manager is stationed in Denver, Colorado, reporting directly to the General Manager. It will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the airport fuel facilities, fuel receipts (from pipeline & transport trucks), pumping and filtration equipment, underground hydrant systems, and also all associated regulatory inspections at the local, state, and federal levels.
Essential Functions, include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate and monitor all facets of the fuel facility operations
- Maintain and monitor all contracts, leases, permits and agreements for compliance
- Direct the workforce in their daily duties and schedules
- Monitor quality assurance programs, records, and fuel inventory control
- Adheres to annual fuel facility operating budget and reports any variances to the General Manager.
- Participate in developing the annual Consortium budget and provide budget variances to the General Manager.
- Assist in management, administration, and special project requirements. ·
- Develop and revise operational procedures as required by change of contract, regulation, policy, construction, and necessity.
- Coordinate physical fuel movements with scheduler and operations personnel and ensure proper physical inventory procedures are followed and properly documented.
- Maintain communications with employees, monitor workforce schedules and requirements.
- Provide required reports and follow up all operational irregularities while enforcing employee work rules/regulations and report as required to the General Manager.
- Provide daily oversight in the Quality Service, Safety Management System, and Security Programs.
- Coordinate, and control all loss prevention responsibilities and fuel inventory reconciliation.
- Additionally, this position requires flexible hours including weekend and potential holidays to respond to emergency call-out conditions.

Requirements

Job Requirements:
- Possess 2-3 years of bulk fuel storage and handling management experience preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Keen sense of reasoning, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems related to bulk fuels.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and other required identifications and certifications.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to meet an array of physical demands such as lifting 25-50 lbs., standing for prolonged periods, climbing, etc.
- Meets vision requirements such as close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
