Responsibilities : You will conduct orientation with all new CDL drivers including road tests, pre-trip inspections, company policies, company expectations, paperwork, hazmat training (if applicable), and ELD (Electronic Logging Device) training to ensure the driver is successful when they are released from orientation This role may work with lesser experienced drivers (12-24) months to make sure the driver is safe to drive You will also do remedial training with current drivers that were involved in an accident or struggling with the operation of the ELD This position will involve reviewing driver video events and sending any concerning videos to the Fleet Safety Manager for review to determine if any action is needed This position will review drivers HOS (Hours of Service) and unassigned time to make sure drivers and meeting all compliance requirements according to the FMCSA You will prepare classroom and range for class activities, instruct, and monitor drivers in the use of learning materials and equipment, and use relevant technology to support instruction You will prepare classroom and range for class activities, instruct, and monitor drivers in the use of learning materials and equipment, and use relevant technology to support instruction You will observe and evaluate drivers performance and development, maintain accurate and complete records of drivers progress and development, and sign off on completed training You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST Requirements : ?
