Position Title: Senior Accountant
Reports To: Controller
Work Location: Hybrid- approx. 1-2 days/week in Hood River office
Position Summary:
As a Senior Accountant you will support the department by overseeing accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely accounting data. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and exceptional analytical skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience with compliance, audits and taxes. Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Manage AP transactions in coordination with our Accounting & Payroll Specialist
- Ensure a high volume of vendor invoices are recorded into the ERP accurately and approvals for payment are received in a timely manner
- Prepare and process disbursements to ensure all allowed discounts are utilized
- Manage vendor permanent files and payment terms, including resolving vendor discrepancies as needed
- 1099 reporting
- Administration of corporate credit card program, including verification of all charges
- Management of petty cash account
- Month end close responsibilities include GL account reconciliations
- Assist in external audits by preparing reports and documents related to AP
Accounts Receivable
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely invoicing and payments
- Oversee cash receipts and research any disputes
- Month-end assistance including account reconciliations
- Assist in preparation for external audits with reporting and documentation of AR transactions
Compliance
- Monthly state reporting to states which Full Sail operates within
- Monthly preparation of excise tax returns and accruals
- Annual renewals and filings with States and Federal agencies
- Label and new product tracking
- Other duties and projects as necessary
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (Required), ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Public Accounting (Preferred)
- Compliance/State Reporting (Preferred), TTB and OLCC experience a plus
- Experience with GL reconciliations and journal entries
- Extensive background with payables and receivable
- Well versed with month in close process and demonstrated ability to meet close deadlines

- Must be highly skilled in the operation of various software and web programs; particularly the MS Office Suite and accounting software. Netsuite experience is a plus.
