What part will you play?
● GAF Energy is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to support and deliver sales of GAF
Energy solar products to existing roofing channels
● This exciting role will report to the Director of Inside Sales and work closely with the
Solar Sales team to increase the build out of the GAF Energy sales presence
● You will be responsible for retaining and growing solar sales within your market. By
collaborating with partners and delivering a high quality level of support
What will you do?
● Work with a wide group of residential roofing contractors to introduce and enhance sales
of new GAF Energy solar products
● Work closely with Territory Managers to build strong relationships with roofers in your
market with the goal of creating long-term success
● Assist Territory Managers and GAF Energy Training team to ensure contractors receive
appropriate training, sales tools, etc. to successfully sell and install new GAF Energy
solar products, including the launch and transition of roofers to the AF Energy Inside
Sales Program
● Represent and document the voice of the customer(s) for best practice and sales tool
development
● Understand 3rd party finance companies to assure that our products meet financing
criteria for their markets and our roofers
● Perform online consultations with end user customers (homeowners) / facilitated selling
with roofers
● Maintain proficiency as a solar energy and GAF Energy product expert, including local
business intelligence (pricing, market trends, etc.)
● Responsible for pipeline account management and documentation through CRM tool
SalesForce
● Work with our proposal tool(s) to create/adjust solar designs and end-user proposals
● Collaborate with Territory Managers and roofers to ensure solar sales increase
● Always work to satisfy customer(s) needs and requests and respond to their request in a
timely manner
● Other projects and duties as assigned by GAF Energy
What do we require from you?
● 1 to 5 years experience in sales and have adapted to a virtual selling platform
● Experience and orientation in working cross functionally and collaboratively
● Strong communication skills, both oral and written
● Basic understanding of policy impacts on solar industry
● High energy/high sense of urgency/fast-paced and can think on your feet
● Create and present updated go to market plans to all functions in the business
● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external functional teams
verbally, in writing, and via presentations
● Impeccable attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and excellent time
management skills
● Self-motivated, proactive, and efficient
● Travel 10%-20% required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
