POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Team Lead aids in organizing and executing work throughout the production floor. This is a player/coach position that assists the Production Manager in directing the team to achieve departmental goals. The Production Team Lead will often be performing aircraft maintenance functions alongside production personnel. The Production Team Lead will demonstrate leadership capabilities and be able to maintain positive working relationships with all individuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, providing the Production Manager with recommendations, and jointly delivering the feedback.
· Maintain accurate data packages both in writing and digitally.
· Ensure compliance and actively participate in PAT training program practices and principles.
· Promote adherence to production floor processes and documentation discipline.
· Champion production goals, guaranteeing production outputs maintain quality and quantity standards.
· Apply technical troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues with shop floor personnel.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly production floor.
· Delegate and distribute work to production personnel ensuring level loading to achieve consistent flow.
· Escalate potential production upsets to Production Manager and actively participate in resolution.
· Upkeep of tracking/reporting software utilized in production.
· Lead daily standup meetings with production personnel.
· Act as an ambassador of the SMS and promote safety of personnel, equipment, and product throughout the facility.
· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 2 years relevant experience, preferred, in a technical role.
· 18 months applicable aerospace MRO experience and/or A&P License.
· Basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office suite, and the ability to type.
· The ability to use ERP systems and other production related software/tools.
· Understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Must understand, speak, and write in English.
· The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
