We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Office Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our team in a part-time capacity. This is a newly created role and will evolve over time to meet the needs of our growing business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of administrative and financial tasks, balancing structure with flexibility, and adapting to changing responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Create and collect invoices from vendors, upload them into accounting software, and ensure timely payments.
- Accounts Payable: Review and process subcontractor requisitions, confirm compliance requirements, and handle vendor inquiries.
- Scheduling & Administrative Support: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and assist with expense documentation.
- Office Management: Manage relationships with vendors, maintain office supplies, arrange for maintenance and repairs, and ensure a tidy and functional workspace.
- General Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, assist with financial reporting, and support month-end closings.
- Notary Services: Maintain Notary certification and perform notary services for the company.
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in office administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or payroll roles.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
- Willingness to adapt and grow with the role as company needs evolve.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
