You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospital operations during the absence of executive, administrative, and departmental leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to maintain continuity of patient care
- Manage activities and operations in alignment with departmental goals
- Assume accountability for hospital functions in the absence of executive leadership
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives
- Minimum of three years of demonstrated clinical experience
- Proven leadership capabilities in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Wisconsin or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Baccalaureate degree is required; if not possessed, active enrollment in an academic program is necessary
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 90 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred
