The General Morgan Inn is a privately-owned, independent hotel catering to the needs of our guests for decades. Our 51 beautiful guest rooms and suite are located in the heart of Greeneville’s Historic District.

The General Morgan Inn is currently in need of new Restaurant Servers who are looking to enjoy highly competitive compensation, lucrative tips and the finest training in all of Tennessee. All that is required is a friendly smile and a desire to succeed.

Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

• Maintain a polished and well-groomed look that aligns with the restaurant’s image.
• Use a courteous and professional tone to warmly welcome and assist guests.
• Provide a warm, inviting experience and gracefully handle guest concerns.
• Effectively manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists.
• Be familiar with dishes, specials, and beverages to answer guest inquiries confidently.
• Stay calm and professional during busy periods or challenging situations.
• Work effectively with management, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Keep the host area clean and organized, ensuring everything is guest-ready.
• Be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant.
• Consistently uphold the restaurant’s high standards for hospitality and professionalism.
