Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading the design and development of electrical systems for various projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge electrical solutions and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for new projects
Review and interpret technical requirements and specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
Supervise and mentor junior engineers
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical systems
Prepare technical documentation and reports
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Participate in project planning and scheduling
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues
Conduct tests and assessments to validate system performance
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering
Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and contractors
Lead the implementation of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions
Manage project budgets and resources effectively
Ensure adherence to project timelines
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven experience in electrical system design and development
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, etc.)
Excellent project management skills
Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of power distribution and control systems
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience in sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions
Certification or licensure in Electrical Engineering is a plus
Thorough understanding of electrical testing and validation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compliance with safety and quality regulations
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
10 years of experience with electrical design
Experienced in designing PCB’s; proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing
