We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a widely respected and diverse Civil/Facilities Division. What you would be doing: (Responsibilities)
- Assist in the design of power distribution, lighting, communications, fire detection and alarm, and security building systems as well as highway and airfield lighting and control systems.
- Work on all phases of projects such as pre-design scoping, plan design, specifications, project team coordination, construction documents, bidding, construction review and inspection, code analysis, client relations, and consultant interaction.
- Some fieldwork travel may be required.
Who you are: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor of Science or Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering course work that includes layout and design of power distribution at building voltage levels and lighting designs required.
- PE licensure or on path to obtain PE license preferred.
- 0 - 10 years of electrical design experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional building facilities.
- Sustainable design experience with LEED accreditation a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
- Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, meet project demands and schedules.
