Director of Patient Services

Gennesaret Free Clinics is seeking a full-time Director of Patient Services. The Director of Patient Services is responsible for overseeing the patient care operations across all GFC clinic sites, ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and efficient experience for all patients.
The ideal candidate will have experience with strategic leadership, program development, project management, and cross-team collaboration. A successful candidate will be able to manage a dedicated team of professionals to achieve individual and collective success.
Objectives of the Director of Patient Services:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to drive individual and team success, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Identify training and professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular Patient Services meetings, 1:1 meetings with staff, and performance evaluations to create a culture of feedback and continuous development to support staff growth and organizational achievement.
- Management of the Patient Services Team.
Strategic Program Planning and Growth:
- Support the implementation of strategic plans to drive organizational growth and expansion of services provided, and communities reached.
- Collaborate with clinical and organizational leadership to design and implement patient-centered programs and services to achieve the goals of the strategic plan as well as to better serve the needs of the community.
- Ensure that patient services are aligned with the clinic’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with the Development team to support growth objectives through fundraising and grant proposals.
- Track operations progress toward strategic plans.
- Monitor service line budgets and spending, and provide input of future budgets and grant proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and healthcare partners to enhance service access and delivery including mobile clinic sites
- Represent the organization at community events and health fairs to promote services and gather community input when appropriate.
Project Management:
- Lead and oversee key projects and initiatives as assigned; ensuring effective project planning, execution through delegation, and evaluation.
- Develop project timelines and plans to ensure project goals are achieved within pre-established parameters.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide guidance and support to key stakeholders involved in the project to ensure successful implementation and outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Implementation of Project Management tools and support to ensure utilization of the tool.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Oversee the creation and management of a calendar outlining all program QA and compliance activities and ensure completion of tasks.
- In collaboration with patient services staff, establish and oversee quality assurance protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services.
- Oversee compliance with all CLIA and FTCA-related best practice policies in collaboration with the Data & Compliance Manager.
- Responsible for completing monthly parking permit applications for the Transportation Center for the Mobile Unit
Data Management and Reporting:
- Set goals and KPIs in partnership with the Executive Director for all service lines.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate data collection is in place for all Patient Services service lines.
- Track progress towards organization goals and implement standardized reporting to capture progress towards goals.
- Implement standardization of reporting to objectively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Development team to share needed data for reporting and storytelling purposes.
- Prepare regular reports for the executive team and board of directors on patient service initiatives and results.
Board of Directors:
- Submit reporting bi-monthly to the Executive Director as part of the Board of Directors Consent Agenda
- Work with the Volunteer Medical Director to schedule, attend, and take minutes for the quarterly Volunteer Medical Leadership Committee Meetings.
- Provide meeting minutes from the Volunteer Medical Leadership meetings to the Executive Director and the Volunteer Medical Director

Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Work Hours: This is an in-person position that is based out of our Administrative Office with travel to clinic locations required. This person is expected to work 8 am - 5 pm with an hour for lunch. There will be times that required this position to be available to execute job functions outside of scheduled working time (events, outreach, clinic supervision, committee meetings, trainings, etc...). It is expected that the person in this role will attend these events.

- This position will primarily be an indoor position, but there will be times when the position requires comfort working in outdoor environments. This position is very active and frequently requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
