About us
Seeking high-energy individual to assist in growing eye care practice. Desire strong people skills and technical ability. Primary duties include assiting the optometrist with patient care including pre-testing patients, performing diagnositic testing, teaching patients how to use contact lenses, ordering contact lenses, faxing patient care letters to other providers, and maintaining the contact lens inventory. Secondary duties include patient reception, schedule management and recall, verifying vision/medical insurance plans, and patient check out. As a small independent practice, cross training as a optician(optical sales and dispensing), is required. Experience in an optometric practice is a plus but will train the right candidate. Pay will commensurate with experience and demonstration of competency in required skills. This position will be approximately 36-40 hours/week.
