As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the shop environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
