Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, development, and successful execution of UAV projects.
- Manage the scheduling and performance of multiple UAV initiatives and personnel.
- Identify project scope and engage in contract negotiations.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, implementing corrective measures when required.
- Lead the team in the establishment of database and schema criteria for UAV services.
- Handle UAV flight requests, pilot assignments, and various data acquisition processes including Mapping, Photography, Video, and LiDAR.
- Supervise UAV flight and processing software while maintaining partnerships with platforms such as SkySkopes, DroneDeploy, and Pix4D.
- Engage in business development activities through responding to RFPs, delivering presentations, and preparing proposals.
- Organize project assignments and supervise UAV technicians and specialists.
- Analyze data generated from remote sensing platforms to extract valuable insights.
- Assist in the design and development of remote sensing applications tailored to project objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and associated application extensions.
- Knowledgeable in data management within Relational Database Management Systems.
- Familiar with data analytics, advanced data visualization techniques, and Big Data.
- Experienced with web-based GIS services and mapping tools.
- A valid driver's license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in GIS and/or UAV operations.
- Remote Pilot Certification is required; Remote Sensing Certification is preferred.
