The company was founded in 1998 and was known as Gibson Parts & Equipment Inc. Gibson had a rather modest beginning, starting out in the living room of the founder's home in Westfield, Indiana supplying replacement parts for industrial wheel-blast machines. Short lead-times, cost effective pricing and their attention to detail were quickly embraced by metal working manufacturers. The company was privately and locally owned until 2012 when Empire Abrasive Equipment Company in Langhorne, PA aquired Gibson Parts & Equipment. The name of the company changed to Gibson Abrasive Equipment Company LLC... and is currently managed by Geoff Gibson and his managerial staff. Gibson separates itself in the industry by gaining a deep understanding of what best suits the customer's process and designing a solution to fill the need. As an original equipment manufacturer, we pride ourselves on our customer success stories. Our 100% focus on shot-blasting solutions has made us very good at what we do.
