Client Service Team Leader
Gibson Capital, LLC, is an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm based in Wexford, PA. We provide comprehensive fee-only portfolio advisory services based on a strategic asset allocation approach. We currently manage approximately $2.5 billion in assets for about 230 high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and retirement plans nationwide.
The Client Service Team Leader (CSTL) plays an integral role in managing our high and ultra-high net worth relationships. You will be responsible for reviewing the workflow of a small collaborative team of Portfolio Administrators (PA) and will assist in coordinating the team’s activities, problem solving, and providing prioritization and process guidance. You will manage an assigned client load to build expertise in the daily processes of the service delivery team. In addition, you will maintain a current working knowledge of various technology solutions currently leveraged to service our clients. You will work closely with the IOM to evaluate opportunities to gain efficiency, mitigate risk, and improve the overall client experience.
In this role, you will:
· Serve as the subject matter expert regarding advanced client requests, including complex account establishment of private investment companies and trusts, onboarding and account funding, money movement requests (including overseas cashiering), resolution of portfolio accounting and cost basis reconciliation issues, and the ability to generate and review advanced performance reporting
· Review and approve the PA workflow
· Develop and implement quality control measures
· Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of our day-to-day operations
· Maintain ongoing communication across the organization to ensure adherence to our existing policies and processes
· Train, coach, and provide technical guidance to colleagues
· Have potential for direct client interaction

· Expert knowledge of custodial forms and processes
· Comprehension of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures (including SEC/RIA regulations)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
· Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
· Resourcefulness, flexibility, and ability to creatively problem solve
· Ability to interact diplomatically and effectively with business partners and custodians to resolve escalated service issues while maintaining positive relationships
· Familiarity with cost basis reporting and the ability to resolve accounting discrepancies
· Understanding of a wide variety of asset classes and securities
· Strong understanding of investment performance calculation and reporting processes
· Willingness to work as a team player to support others in a small office environment
· Experience with portfolio accounting systems, web-based platforms (including trading, custodial, and client portals) as well as other software relevant to investment management
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM, Adobe programs, Slack, and other applications (Black Diamond a plus)
