Pre-Construction Builder Coordinator
Gibson Plumbing Company, established in 1954, is a residential and multifamily company serving San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston and surrounding areas providing quality plumbing services.
Gibson Plumbing Company is the largest growing new construction plumbing company is searching for a candidate to be a part of our plumbing construction family in our San Antonio location. A candidate that is passionate about growing and having pride in their work. Our Plan Coordinator position involves plan building in our internal databases to provide our plumbers with what they need to succeed.
To succeed in this position candidates should have exceptional organization skills and attention to detail. You should be analytical, adaptable and organized with the ability to build knowledge of our multiple home builders. The ideal candidate will also be an exceptional multitasker, is a self-starter, with excellent communication and people skills.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating a knowledge reading plans
- Building plans in our internal database
- Prepare redline plans for crews and field supervisors as assigned
- Analyzing and becoming comfortable with residential home builder specifications
- Auditing other builder associate’s work
- Maintaining plans with updates and changes
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and with no errors.
- Liaising with builders and project managers
- Reconcile job PO’s based off of plan files and selects. Submit for adjustments as needed
- Answering/screening incoming calls and route calls to appropriate personnel
- Misc. residential administrative duties
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- More education or experience may be preferred
- 3 years in administrative position
- Ability to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience when interacting with others
- Computer literacy to include basic to intermediate aptitude in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Proper phone etiquette
- Proficient to accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and the expertise to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to maintain high job standards possessing initiative and working efficiently to complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to maintain consistent attendance
