Job Summary
Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates is a luxury chocolate boutique in Midtown Sacramento. It is a family-owned business which has been operating for 16 years and has become a cornerstone of midtown Sacramento. Our chocolates and desserts are inspired by local California farms and all the wonderful ingredients grown around us. As a retail store manager at Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates, you will perform and be responsible for many functions of a luxury chocolate boutique including sales generation, customer service excellence, human resources management, team building, merchandising, administrative and expense management, and store maintenance. This is a hands-on job in which most of your time will be spent on the floor overseeing customer service and the GEC team. The main daily objectives are orchestrating the GEC team and upholding GEC operational standards and values that create a memorable experience for our guests.
Duties
HR management
Create sales and merchandising plans
Team building and engagement
Oversee store and building maintenance
Training and overseeing team development
Uphold and cultivate our established standards of excellence and customer service.
Deep understanding of products in order to uphold GEC team for optimum customer experience
Proper food handling required by Sacramento County Health Department
Exhibits professionalism, positive attitude and is consistently punctual
Have experience using POS software exhibiting skillful cash handling
Requirements
Open Availability
Barista, can skillfully make espresso drinks on a commercial espresso machine
Communicate effectively by written and verbal communication
Efficient in the Microsoft suite
Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to six-eight hours in length.
Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds in weight.
