A Day in the Life as a Manufacturing Technical Lead
As a Manufacturing Technical Lead, you will provide hands-on technical support and assembly / machine training for all assembly line functions throughout the manufacturing process. This position will manage daily interactions with assembly line employees, resolving process issues, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting production efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements. Responsibilities include :
- Providing technical support for manufacturing assembly, machinery, and tooling, including specifications, performance, application design feedback, and new manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, risk prevention, quality, environmental, and other company regulations.
- Assisting in developing and managing proposals for new machinery or assembly processes.
- Advising on facility layout and design to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Training employees on station- or machine-specific assembly procedures.
- Assisting in creating training materials for manufacturing procedures.
