Description

Position Summary

The Product Programs Manager - Program is responsible for designing training and communications to build a cohesive volunteer experience and managing the cookie booth and cookie business girl experience programs. 

At Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, most of our roles work in a hybrid capacity (in office, remote, and/or in the field). Details will be provided during the interview process.

The position is full time with a competitive starting annualized salary of $46,066!

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Manages the cookie booth program, including securing small business partnership agreements and supporting troops through the booth phase of the program.
  • Develops, manages and delivers girl program events, sometimes in collaboration with other departments.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing Communications department, creates content for internal and external product programs collateral and communications, including via publications, email and website; recommends key messaging for the promotion of Girl Scout product programs.
  • Oversee the cookie and nut/candy/magazine Girl Scout rewards programs.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and support to internal and external customers.
  • Create trainings and edit and create manuals for volunteers.
  • Serve as a collaborative team member, working to advance the mission of Girl Scouts.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of communications or marketing experience.
  • Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and recruit volunteers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, vendor-based software, and other general office equipment.
  • Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers,
  • Ability to establish rapport with others at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, and work afternoons, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer, including navigating websites, software platforms, spreadsheets and both electronic and paper documents.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer.

Occasionally positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.

May need to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across office for various needs.

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.

Must be able to exchange accurate information.

Is required to drive/ operate an automobile.

Work Environment

Constantly works in an indoor professional office environment. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
