Duties
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Oversee the organization of the stockroom, ensuring all items are stored properly.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, performing necessary repairs as needed.
- Sort, count, weigh, and tattoo hogs
- Assist with animal handling and care as required, ensuring their well-being.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in greenhouse management or farm operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of animal care practices is highly desirable.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture or a related field is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs.
- Experience with equine handling is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
