What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tinning Operator II position at Global ETS?
The Operator II of Reballing & Tinning Department is responsible for the re-tin operations including dimensional verification of product.
Responsibilities:
Conduct dimensional inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints to verify compliance with design standards.
Collaborate closely with CNC operators and production teams to ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Document inspection results, prepare inspection reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Identify and report any non-conformance issues and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
Assist in training new team members on inspection techniques and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dimensional Inspector, with a focus on CNC machined parts.
Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Education:
General Education Degree required - High school diploma or equivalent.
further education in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing or a test environment preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
