Automation Engineer w/ Ansible, Dynatrace & Sumologic

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Engineering for Log Management and Integration:
• Develop and maintain log management solutions to ensure efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.
• Integrate various log sources and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Monitoring and Alerting:
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Ansible and Dynatrace.
• Ensure timely detection and resolution of issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Sumologic for Event Logs:
• Utilize Sumologic for event log management and analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into system performance and security.
• PowerBI Dashboards:
• Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.
• Develop assets to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Dynatrace Monitoring:
• Use Dynatrace for monitoring system performance and handling basic requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective use of Dynatrace for performance optimization.
• Ansible Collaboration:
• Work closely with two offshore resources responsible for Ansible development.
• Provide initial development assistance and conduct backend code reviews.
• Utilize Ansible to pull additional information and APIs from tools and Sumologic logs.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience within relative tools
• Proven experience in log management and integration.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Ansible and Dynatrace.
• Experience with Sumologic for event log management.
• Proficiency in creating PowerBI dashboards and assets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore resources.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
