Position Overview: Global Kids, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Intern to support our data management efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data cleaning, data transfer, and digital database management within a non-profit educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Cleaning and Transfer: Support in cleaning data from various sites, including government systems, and transferring it into templates and digital systems.
- Data Collection: Conduct site visits to collect data in physical formats and assist in transferring it into our digital database.
- Data Tracking: Assist in tracking outstanding data requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data collection and transfer processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Strong interest in working for a non-profit organization in the education field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting for clearance.
Additional Information:
- This is an unpaid internship position.
- Fingerprinting will be required for clearance.
