Youth Center Supervisor, Gold Bar Nature Trails

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Center Supervisor to lead our team of youth center staff here at Gold Bar Nature Trails. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for supporting individuals in achieving their goals, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

This position is seasonal through the 2025 summer from May, 2025- September, 4th 2025. Weekends are REQUIRED

Duties

• Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and reporting to ensure efficient center operations.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Inventory of supplies/food needed on a weekly basis.
• Scheduling Youth Center staff and creating weekly schedules and plans.
• Creating activities for park members and children to participate.
• Sourcing Youth Center staff.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with park members and children.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes the dignity and respect of all individuals served.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
