Overview:
We are seeking experienced Bar Staff to join our team. As a member of the bar staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while serving the patrons in the casino areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on board the Emerald Princess Casino cruise ship.
Duties:
- Make and serve drinks
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash and comp transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor consumption to ensure adherence to rules and regulations
- Set up and clean the work areas
- Maintain a clean and organized gaming area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills
- Must be at least 18 years old (or minimum age required by state regulations) 21 for bartending.
- Previous experience as a bartender or cocktail server is preferred
