Golden Isles Cruise Lines, Inc operates a 4 deck 200 foot dinner/casino cruise ship (Emerald Princess Casino) in Brunswick, GA. We sail 6 cruises a week Thursday-Sunday.
Our company is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and hardworking Captain\First Mate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous ship handling experience, carry a current 100 ton master/mate license for an inspected vessel, have up to date VSO certification, TWIC, radar endorsement, VHF marine radio permit and be certified in adult first aid/CPR. We're looking for candidates with prior experience on the water and who are able to function well with a small crew.
Responsibilities:
- Captain ship in Masters absence.
- Enforce safety regulations.
- Assist with medical incidences.
- Assist in security situations.
- Maintain proper ship documentation and records.
- Oversee ship safety procedures.
- Assist Master in ship operations.
