Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Vocational Funding Coordinator responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
Program Performance And Coordination
- Screen students at intake for third party funding opportunities
- Coordinate with program managers to ensure required documentation is in the student’s files
- Determines eligibility status of Goodwill job training participants at all participating Work Opportunity Centers
- Complete monthly and quarterly reports
- Ensure case notes are up to date in all relevant client databases
- Prepare eligibility rosters, billing rosters and billing invoice packets to submit to funders
- Monitor program performance and outcome goals
- Ensure all applicable terms, conditions and requirements of the program contracts are upheld
- Circulate information and train staff internally regarding communications and information relevant to the program(s)
- Support program marketing and outreach activities
- Train staff on funder requirements and opportunities
- Represent Goodwill’s programs in the community
- Establish and nurture relationships with third party funders, workforce development agencies and local employers to create enrollment, training and job placement opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners to understand the specific skill requirements and job opportunities within the community to assist students entering the workforce.
- Provide job readiness training and support for students, including resume building, interview preparation, and job search guidance.
- Ensure training and classroom management are consistent with the policies and procedures of the Vocational School.
- Collaborate with trainers and instructors to maintain an effective curriculum that aligns with industry standards and market demands.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and performance, and implement interventions as necessary to ensure successful program completion.
- Conduct outreach efforts to identify and recruit potential students with a priority for third party funding opportunities.
- Assist students in the enrollment process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into training programs.
- Oversee the opportunity to provide internships, job shadows and volunteer engagement.
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic mission and goals.
- Evaluate and ensure continued improvement toward mission/program success.
