Finance Manager (100% Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, independent, and experienced Senior Financial Manager with expertise in government contracting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the government contracting industry, be proficient in SharePoint and/or MS Teams, possess the ability to develop comprehensive spend plans, have advanced MS Excel skills, and be able to complete assignments with little oversight. This role will play a critical part in managing our program’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and supporting our project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage financial planning and analysis for a large, complex government contract, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive spend plans for multiple projects.
· Monitor budgets and revenue to ensure profitability and compliance with contract requirements.
· Provide financial guidance to project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
· Government Contracting Experience preferred.
· Stay up-to-date with government regulations and compliance requirements related to government contracts.
· Ensure all financial activities and reporting adhere to government contract guidelines and standards.
· Prepare and submit government financial reports, invoices, and documentation accurately and on time.
· Utilize SharePoint and/or Teams to facilitate document sharing, collaboration, and communication within the finance team and across departments.
· Implement efficient processes for managing financial information.
· Leverage advanced Excel Pivot Tables and PowerQuery skills to extract, transform, and analyze financial data.
· Develop customized financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
· Proven experience 10-years as a financial manager in government contracting.
· Strong knowledge of government contract regulations and compliance.
· Proficiency in SharePoint and/or Teams for collaboration and document management.
· Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Pivot Tables, for data analysis and reporting.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Requires TS/SCI (and/or CI Poly) – must be willing to obtain CI Poly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
