I have an immediate need for an in-home ESE 4th grade reading tutor in Winneconne out past Winneconne Village-Marble Park off of Archterberg Road. Mom is asking for a teacher/tutor who has experience working with dyslexic students as her son reads slowly and the school is pushing for testing to see if he has dyslexia but Mom does not think he does. The student is in 4th grade at Winneconne School. He needs to work with a tutor for reading. (He loves math and is good at it.)
The student is struggling with reading and is below grade level. The family do have a few materials. They are open for the tutor to suggest more.
The goals are for the student to work with the tutor on an ongoing basis to make sure that the school is settled about the student's abilities and that he learns to read well.
Mom wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-7pm, any day Monday through Friday.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student's home in Winneconne out past Winneconne Village-Marble Park off of Archterberg Road.
- Tutor must have experience working with dyslexic students.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-7pm, any day Monday through Friday.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
