SUMMARY:
The Chaplain Resident provides pastoral care and support to patients, families, and staff in the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters of Divinity or currently enrolled in a Master's of Divinity program
- Completed one (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) prior to applying for the chaplain resident position.
- Participates fully in the Clinical pastoral Education program and is admitted to the program through the center for Chaplaincy and CPE, Care and Counseling Center of Georgia.
- Participates in On Call rotations at nights, holidays, and during weekends for Grady Health System and emergent needs at CHOA HS, in conjunction with other chaplain residents
