What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist position at Great Lakes Eye Institute?
Medical office patient collections; this is a newly created position. Experienced preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Successful candidate must be professional, respectful, compassionate, confident, and assertive when collecting patient balances; they cannot be shy when asking for payment.
Attention to detail, consistent follow-thru, excellent communication skills are each a must.
Experience with Allscripts is a plus, dependability is required.
