What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Assembly position at GreatStar|Arrow Fastener?
Job Requirements:
• A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide.
• Ability to read & understand basic work instructions.
• Ability to lift maximum 40 pounds.
• Forklift Certification required (will go through Arrow Certification process as needed.)
• Work overtime as required.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review Assembly Specification.
• Handling of all Assembly part and put in proper labeled location.
• Observe flow of incoming material being used to detect any quality issues.
• Proper housekeeping, sweeping and maintaining work area clean of debris.
• Follow all general safety regulations, use provided safety equipment as required.
• Perform inventory of parts once a month or as needed.
• Report all shortages of Parts to Supervisor.
