What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Recruitment Coordinator position at Greene County General Hospital?
The HR Recruitment Coordinator will perform a wide variety of human resources support and administration activities focusing on recruitment. The HR Recruitment Coordinator will develop recruitment strategies and manage the recruitment process for the hospital and all off-site clinics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with hiring managers and develop recruitment strategies for open positions.
- Responsible for managing the interview process, including screening, scheduling and conducting behavioral-based interviews, completing references and making job offers.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking software.
- Source potential candidates through various sourcing channels, including online, local/community and using external networking connections.
- Participate in career fairs in the community and at colleges.
- Educate new hiring managers on interviewing skills and interview process.
- Create digital and print recruitment materials in collaboration with hiring managers and Outreach department.
- Provide back-up coverage for Human Resources Coordinator position.
- Collect recruitment data for IHA and other regulatory reporting.
- Assist with the development and facilitation of recruitment and staffing policies.
- Assist with Human Resources projects.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting.
- Assist with onboarding and new employee orientation process as needed.
- Protects patient and employee confidentiality and abides by all HIPAA laws.
- Reports mistakes, near misses or adverse events and quality and safety concerns.
- Participates in the development and implementation of safety and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrates clear ownership of workplace and patient safety.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business administration required.
Licensure/Certification: Valid Indiana Driver's License in good standing required.
Experience: Two to three years' previous human resource experience. Ability to interact with employees at all levels, while providing exemplary customer service. Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities. Must be capable of handling confidential information appropriately in line with federal and state regulations. A high level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting and walking. Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop and reach.
