Summary:
The Chief Pilot is responsible for overseeing all flight operations and ensuring that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently. They are responsible for managing a team of pilots and ensuring that all pilots are properly trained and certified. The Chief Pilot is also responsible for maintaining compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies. Aircraft type is Beechcraft Premier 1A aircraft during the flight.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all flight operations
- Manage SIC and for hire pilots
- Ensure that all pilots are properly trained and certified
- Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve flight operations
- Ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained and serviced
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently
- Provide leadership and guidance to all pilots
Requirements:
- Experience managing other pilots
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
- FAA Airline Transport Certificate with an applicable Type Rating, and Multi-Engine Rating
- Minimum Pilot in Command time of 4,000 hours of which at least 3,000 hours have been in Multi-Engine Aircraft including at least 1,500 hours in Turbo Jet Aircraft, at least 250 hours in the Premiere
- Training to achieve Premiere type rating will be considered for exceptional candidates
