Senior Staff Software Engineer
Mission : Your mission is to ensure the reliability of our APIs as customers route their AI workloads through Groq's insanely fast, purpose-built hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless performance and exceptional service delivery.
Outcomes :
- Architect and Implement Scalable Systems : Contribute to the design of highly scalable, distributed systems that power Groq Cloud.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineers across the organization to deliver customer-focused features with strong reliability and performance from day one.
- Systems Optimization : Conduct performance analysis and fine-tuning to achieve exceptional system efficiency. Address complex challenges in latency, throughput, and scalability.

Compensation : At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $248,000 to $336,000, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
Location : Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
