Responsibilities

  • The Landscape and Snow Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to our team
  • By working directly with our different teams (owner, office, mechanic, landscapers, snow operations, lawn crews, etc) to provide excellent service to our clients
  • This includes planning jobs, gathering teams to execute, bidding jobs, managing operations/employees, training, coaching, hiring, etc
  • Oversee daily operations of business, including but not limited to, scheduling, dispatching, troubleshooting, quality control, KPIs, invoicing, etc
  • Develop training for safety, in-field applications, and sales to staff, management, and new hires
  • Recruit, Interview, Orientate, Train, and Manage employees
  • Meet daily with employees to discuss production plans, goals, and issues
  • Provide accurate production records
  • Provide customer service by evaluating lawns through diagnosis of disease or inspection of problems, or other issues
  • Coordinate with mechanics equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate with company to forecast sales, budgets, efficiencies, and other KPIs on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Create processes and procedures to systematize, enhance, and streamline department operations and sales
  • Actively drive sales through new leads, referrals, existing client up-sells, and other sources of revenue related to the department
  • Plan and execute landscape jobs/projects
  • Maintain proper inventory of products with Vendor relationships
  • Develop relationships with vendors to maintain product, equipment, and materials at the best available production and price
  • Strategic planning for the department
  • Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the business policies and procedures
  • Communicate regularly with owner, other managers, and any necessary staff to keep the business communication open and up to date
  • Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements
  • Negotiate with customers regarding fees for landscaping, lawn service, or grounds keeping work
  • Answer inquires from current or prospective customers regarding methods, materials, or price ranges
  • Review contracts or work assignments to determine service, machine, or workforce requirements for jobs
  • Provide workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Complete additional as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
