Loader Operator

We’re seeking experienced, dedicated, and reliable Loader Operators. Must have 2 years experience with machinery (loader or skid steer with snow pushers).

DESCRIPTION

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear commercial properties: including but not limited to: parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions
• Remove snow and ice from designated areas
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
• Check equipment before each use and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• On-call 24/7 (including nights, weekends, and holidays)

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s License required (with a clean driving record)
• Ability to work extended periods of time (length of shifts vary depending on storm)
• Ability to work in various conditions, such as extreme weather conditions, cold, snow, sleet, and darkness
• Reliable transportation (able to commute to New Boston, MI)
• Previous experience operating loader/skid steer equipment required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Smart phone (required) to take photos and use apps to track work
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
