You will exercise these technical competencies as you engage with clients building automation integration, answering technical questions, troubleshooting, and more.

Responsibilities
- Understand DriveWorks products and provide recommendations for best solutions
- Work with Customer Service, Business Development and Project Management teams to support pre and post sales
- Analyze customer needs, prepare specifications, design modifications, make recommendations for efficient use of DriveWorks
- Coordinate and execute installation of software and technical service
- Provide technical support in person and via phone
- Provide technical training and consulting
- Work with Technical Services team to determine project assignments, report project status, and collaborate on problem solving
- Troubleshoot using SQL
Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree in Automation & Maintenance, Process Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Information Systems or similar field of study
- 2 years experience using 3D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
- 2 years experience with design automation
- 2 years professional PDM experience
- Prior technical support experience in software related field
- Understand engineering processes and terms
- Mechanical design experience desired
- Customer focused approach and strong presentation skills
- Understanding of computer networking and hardware
- Ability to travel locally and in the region on occasion (WI, IL, and upper MI)
