Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of specialized and complex investments utilizing all available sources of information including governing documents, published research, financial reports, news, rating agency reports, and market information, or develop quantitative models and tools and models to provide key support thereof
• Create or maintain cashflows and financial models for specialized and complex investments. Oversee and QC cashflow / financial models for less-complex, on-the-run investments
• Lead or initiate meetings with managers, issuers or internal constituents for industry background and deal research. Attend industry conferences to gain market intelligence and contacts Generate buy/sell recommendations and Watch/monitor recommendations, and make presentations to IC and conduct follow-up research, or develop solutions to analytical modeling problems as directed by team manager
• Direct and QC or develop analytical and data management tools for monthly/quarterly surveillance process. Lead or participate in quarterly Sector review with IC. Research developments related to specialized and more complex investments or quantitative/statistical research projects
• Ensure completeness of credit files, or data handling processes and models, in conformance with firm standards
• Conduct and oversee ad hoc analysis to support PM, management, client, and desk-directed inquiries (e.g., credit reviews of prospective portfolio acquisitions)

Salary Range

$185,000.00 - $260,000.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
