Control Systems Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our systems and infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to implement effective security measures. The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain secure network architectures.
• Monitor security systems for potential threats and respond promptly to incidents.
• Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and awareness.
• Assist in the investigation of security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation related to security incidents, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with Calypso or similar distributed control systems is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to fabricate components as needed.
• Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation (E & I) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or related fields are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,666.00 - $75,047.00 per year

• 12 hour shift
• Holidays
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
