Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
- Train new staff members on housekeeping procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or peak times.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services in a professional manner.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report on team performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning standards.
