Lead Maintenance Position - Villaggio at La Quinta

Villaggio at La Quinta Apartment Homes seeks an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor for our luxury 149-unit resort-style community in La Quinta, CA. This leadership role involves supervising maintenance staff while handling hands-on maintenance duties.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Lead Maintenance Supervisor will train, motivate, and supervise maintenance staff while ensuring exceptional property maintenance standards. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and mentor maintenance staff to achieve operational goals
• Oversee and supervise work performed by vendors and contractors
• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance and repairs at journeyman level in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
• Manage service requests ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction
• Inspect and prepare vacant units for new residents
• Maintain property safety standards and respond to emergency maintenance calls
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain documentation
• Manage common area maintenance including amenity spaces
• Coordinate with property management team to meet operational goals

Required Qualifications

Ability to lift / move up to 45 lbs. unassisted, 80 lbs. with assistance
