Facilities Maintenance Position (San Diego, CA)

Full Time
Pay Range : $26.00 to $35.00per hour
Job Summary :
Lead Marine has immediate openings for a Facility Maintenance Person at aShipyardconstruction site.Must havegoodall-aroundfacilities experience with, from the mechanical side, working on mechanical machinery, to general facility repairs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Performing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the facility and its associated equipment.
- Job duties include shipboard work on valves, rotating machinery, turbines, hydraulics, elevators, and other mechanical systems.
- Maintain company equipment
- Periodic maintenance and logs for all machinery assets including forklifts
- Retain repair manuals
- Repair, broken shop and office machinery and equipment
- Submit requisitions for parts, special tools, or service to accomplish necessary repairs
- Contact, and work with department heads to minimize production impact
- Create lock out tag out logs, and procedures, for all machinery and equipment
- Enforce lockout tag out procedures
