Daycare Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare setting.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster childhood development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment.
• Work with children with disabilities, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in daycare settings or similar childcare roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain order and engagement.
• Ability to educate children through play-based learning methods.
• Experience in toddler care and babysitting is highly valued.
• Familiarity with special education practices for working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude towards caregiving and a passion for working with young children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
