Job Summary

The Lead Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is one of the first points of contact for our HD-Museum retail store guests and is responsible for providing and overseeing a positive, enjoyable experience for all. The Lead RSA plays an important role on our HD-Museum team, responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations in either of the retail stores. The Lead RSA is responsible for imparting knowledge about our products and services to guests and team members, maintaining retail environment standards for our products and their appearance including elevated merchandising, performing opening and closing procedures, conducting sales (cash handling), processing shipments of new products, training and developing the Retail Sales Associates and overseeing various other guest-facing tasks. Lead Retail Sales Associates are expected to supervise and model a positive and professional work environment in a fast-paced team setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to work 30-39 hours per week on average (a few more in summer, a few less in winter)
• Requires outstanding hospitality skills with the ability to understand and resolve guest questions or issues quickly
• Supervise and conduct guest transactions in a professional manner using a point-of-sale system
• Possess sales skills that will contribute to achieving sales goals and provide guidance to Retail Sales Associates
• Maintain an elevated and welcoming retail environment
• Assist in merchandising strategies and displays
• Must be willing to assist and learn all facets of guest service and processing merchandise within our retail stores
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while being fair, honest, creative, and positive
• No set schedule. Must have the flexibility to work weekends, some evenings and holidays, when needed
• Manage multiple duties simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  
  

Education Specifications

High school diploma or GED/HSED is required

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of previous experience in a guest service or retail environment.
• 1 year of leadership experience in a guest service or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to understand and resolve guest questions or issues while keeping the organization’s goals in mind.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
