Job Summary
The Fabricator 1 operates conventional machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts as well as assist machinists, as needed.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare work pieces by using band saws, shear or abrasive saws
- Use various machine shop tools and equipment with supervision to produce required product
- Perform secondary operations such as deburring and cleaning parts
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, drawings, and work instructions to fabricate product
- Inspects and measure machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using instruments, such as gauges, calipers, and micrometer
- Assist with maintaining shop equipment. This includes cleaning, preventive maintenance as scheduled, and repair maintenance as required
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the building and the surrounding property
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company objectives
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Have practical technical knowledge and be able to follow verbal and written instruction
- Be proactive, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability, and responsibility

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Salary : $20 - $24
